Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is going through a rough patch in her personal life. She has been on the receiving end for her alleged involvement in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case related to conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Jacqueline often gets trolled on social media for different reasons and recently she came under the radar of trolls for her views on cosmetic surgery in an old event. Netizens called the actress 'hypocrite,' asking her how many surgeries she has done so far.
In 2006 during the question round of the Miss Universe Sri Lanka pageant, Fernandez was asked about her take on cosmetic surgery. The Kick actress said, “It goes against the whole concept of beauty pageants, and that is to celebrate the natural beauty of women. And plus, if it comes to cosmetic surgery being encouraged, it will become a matter of who can afford it, opposed to who can’t afford the cosmetic surgery. And that is not what beauty pageants are about.” This old video of Jacqueline is doing the rounds on social media with several users trolling her. Reacting to this viral video, one netizen asked, “how many surgeries has she done so far?” Another wrote, “Then she ended up with a whole new face.” A third Instagram user reacted, “Now she has all kinds of cosmetic surgeries done on her body! Her face is not the same anymore.” One comment read, “Wat about the countless surgeries u have done to look good on screen?.” To note, she won the prestigious title of 'Miss Sri Lanka universe' after her answer.
The 37-year-old actress made her first public appearance at the trailer launch of Rohit Shetty's 'Cirkus’ post getting bail in the money laundering case. Jacqueline' was last seen in Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Ram Setu’ which was released in October this year.
